Warped phone

Howdy

Well posting just has not been on my mind unfortunately. As of late shows have crept back into my mind. Although I have been missing out on some great LA shows. Its the damn lonely traffic keeping me Lazy.
Below are two photos of a pay phone warped tour 2011 ad. Why advertise on a pay phone in la where nobody walks? Well this old phone happens to be next to pink's hotdog stand.
Now even though warped has become more corporate over the years, I still think it serves as a great way to spend the day in music and mayhem. Don't know half the bands, but I can learn quick from various mp3 stores on the web.

Breathe in, Exhale

Howdy Ho

So i been slacking again, so i figured i would jump on and post a flyer.

Below is a flyer to a neat concert I wish attended. Jimmy Eat world, At the Drive In, and Hot Rod Circuit would of been a killer line up. Don't think i have ever seen Jim Eat World, but At the drive in and Hot Rod Circuit's music was a breath of fresh air back then.

Seeing At the Drive In open live at Tramps in NYC was one of those moments where you hear a sound and find your self rushing to the merch booth once they wrap they're set. If you have never heard the Album " In/casino/out " I highly recommend it.

I recently move out to the west coast and found myself re-discovering Hod Rod Circuit's "If I Knew Now What I Knew Then ". Its a solid listen through and a great sing-a-long in traffic album.

KrazyFest was the best!

Howdy ho

It's been a bit and i have been delaying this post for awhile. Krazyfest in Louisville Kentucky was under rated and to my knowledge not well known. I had two great weekend road trips with friends out to Kentucky. A three day long weekend of amazing music in the sun. I remember boy sets fire being god damn amazing at this show. Dillinger escape plan's rodie blew fire off a lite torch and stage dove with the flame still going.

Hope to find the 2000 poster for the krazyfest some day.

Take care

I can’t stand being home, but I can’t stand being gone

Well it's been a bit again, but I wanted to post this flyer. looks like I saw my last NYC as a local. I am packing my stuff and
Moving west. I saw Tim Barry last week and he has a lot of passion in his solo performaces. Also a good portion of his songs involve traveling so it's motivational for me. Topped it off by running into some old show buddies.

On the flyer I missed skinnerbox / scofflaws reunion show. Would of been nice to see them play again.

It's been real NY

To the east!

Frank Turner is one of my top
new artists of the last year or so. If you have not seen him live you have not gotten the full effect of his musical talent. I recently missed him play New York city, but I figured I would post this flyer.

The Party Boat is Here

Happy New Year

Well I slacked and did not post once again, no excuse for it. Figured I would start off 2010 with a beat up old flyer of a cool show i missed. Actually this flyer has a bunch of cool shows, but the one i would of enjoyed was Clutch and Orange 9mm. Thinking about it now at the time of this flyer i would of gone to 5 of these shows. I did not because i was a kid with very little money and Curfew. Now that i am older its all a fading fun memory of nostalgia.

I have seen clutch to many times to recount and plan on seeing them many more. Thankfully I saw Orange 9mm At least twice, once at the limelight and once at the first warped tour.

all great shows with many great thoughts

watch your self fly
